Chris & Debbie Monaghan
Senior Pastors
Chris and Debbie Monaghan serve as the senior leaders of Gateway Church. Chris and Debbie expect supernatural happenings whenever and wherever the body of Christ gathers together and regularly sees physical and emotional healings take place. They also serve as coordinators for Family Foundations International and promotes the Ancient Paths Seminars in their region. Chris and Debbie have five children. Chris is the author of four books and has recorded two worship CD’s. He has a Master’s of Theological Studies from Messiah Biblical Institute and a Bachelor’s from Penn State University.
Tom Newton
Administrative Pastor
Tom has served for decades as an administrator in the military and healthc care services. Tom oversees the men’s ministry here at Gateway and partners with the Hope House and Whit’s End, local men’s drug recovery programs
April Newton
Children’s Ministry Pastor
April Newton lives in a quiet Ohio farming community, where chickens, grandchildren, and a bustling family keep life lively. She’s a wife, mother of five, grandmother of six, and the founder of Newton Apple Books, a company dedicated to producing faith-filled books, “Stories that make you think”. April serves as a Kids Church Pastor at her local church. She is an author and illustrator and is best known for her Christian children’s books, Popcorn: the Wandering Little Lamb series which is inspired by Psalm 23. While writing Seven Spirits, she experienced something profoundly different, what she describes as a supernatural encounter with the Lord. The Holy Spirit led and had inspired every page, giving her glimpses of His heart and direction far beyond her own imagination. Through humor and spiritual insight, April seeks to point readers to Christ, the true Author of her story. When she’s not writing or painting, she’s likely out in the backyard feeding chickens, sharing her knowledge with her grandkids, and jotting down her next God-inspired idea.
Austin and Emily Haus
Youth and Outreach Director
Austin and Emily serve as Youth Directors here at Gateway Church. They also oversee our outreach ministry which happens every 3rd Saturday at Little Caesar’s Plaza.
Linda White
Hunger Relief Center
Linda serves as the Director of Gateway’s Hunger Relief Center. She has amazing skills and gifts to gather resources to help feed the community of Richmond Linda is married to Bobby and is a proud mother, grandmother and yes- great grandmother!
Brittany Robbins
Children’s Ministry Administrator
Brittany serves as our Children’s Ministry Administrator. She works alongside our Kid’s Pastor April Newton. Her husband is Tyler and she has five children.
Whitney Mays
Community Group Pastor
Whitney Mays has been the director of the Hope House for almost two decades. Whitney has been helping lead worship at Gateway Church for the past five years and recently started a Community Group that meets weekly at Gateway Church.
